Standard Handpiece
Vented Handpiece
The burning
pen handpieces made by Leisure Time Products, Inc. are unquestionably
state-of-the-art. This means you will find no other handpieces that
can match our longevity, corrosion resistance and performance. If
used and cared for properly, these pens will last for years. Abuse
(such as over-sharpening) will shorten the life of the pen. Please
read the instructions carefully when you receive the pen. Our pens
are tested 100% for continuity, hot spots and heat concentration.
At the factory, we put a ground edge on the blade pens, but you
may sharpen them to your liking.
Handles are
available in standard or vented versions. Leisure Time Products
patented the "Vented" pen in 1989, for use by people with sensitive
hands. The vented, fixed tip pen has holes at both ends and several
side holes to allow the residual heat to escape. The movement generated
from use of the pen also helps to dissipate the heat.
Note: Pens
are available in either replaceable tips or fixed tips. The fixed
tips come with a handpiece, cord and jack plug assembly.
We also make
special pens to your specification. If you would like a special
pen, please send us a sketch and we will try to make it for you.
Special pens have a special price. When you submit a sketch,
please keep in mind that the tip will be made from wire and must
have two legs for electrical connection.
