At Leisure Time Products, Inc., home of the Detail Master burning systems, we pride ourselves on our customer service. If you have any of our products and there is a problem due to a fault of our assembly crew, please return it to our service department for replacement at no charge.

All of our control units have a limited one year warranty on parts and labor. It is necessary when you receive your system that you fill out our warranty card and mail it to:

For all units out of warranty and units that are damaged by our customers, there will be a non-refundable $24.50 service charge. This charge is mandatory for: (1) Visual inspection of the unopened unit, (2) Disassembly of the control unit, (3) Trouble shooting, (4) Testing of the electronic components and (5) writing and mailing you a report. The report will tell you what we found wrong with the unit and how much it will cost to fix it. This report will also give you options if you care to upgrade your system to a new one. It will offer discounts for trade-ins. The special report will tell you which component has to be replaced and its charge. There also will be a charge of $6.00 for shipping the unit back to you.

We may find some of the electronic components to be "borderline". It would be wise to replace them at this time and will save you an additional service charge later.

None of the burning pens are under warranty since their use or abuse is not under our control. If there is an obvious factory defect, we will replace it at no charge. If you wish to have a standard pen repaired, send it to the above address and include $13.50 per pen. To repair a fish scale pen, it is $18.50 each. All other special pen repairs are $15.00 each.

The replaceable pen tips will not be repaired as their low cost prohibits this.
